Bio

My love for doing hair started in high school while working as a receptionist at a hair salon. I always enjoyed watching the hairstylist “work their magic.”

I grew up in White Bear Lake, went to cosmetology school right after I graduated from high school in the year 2000 and haven’t stopped playing with hair ever since. It’s been fun to see the hair styles change through the years- also to see some come back! Some of my favorite things to do with hair is cutting, foiling, styling, up-do’s and Brazilian Blowouts. Big changes and transformations are always exciting, too, When I’m not behind the chair you can find me spending time with my kids, Landon and Olivia, thrifting, trying out new restaurants and playing with my dogs Atlas and Lulu, watching Netflix, listening to True Crime podcasts and couponing. I love living in Stillwater, there is always something to do here. Working at Japa Salon has been amazingly awesome! We truly are a great team and family.
